Meeting My Younger Self

Upload two photos, childhood and current, and get a shot where the grown-up you looks at yourself as a child.

Format

What you get

A touching shot about time: on the left, you as a child with an innocent smile; on the right, you today, chin resting on your hands, smiling warmly at your younger self. Between you sits a table with a simple, elegant birthday cake showing your age, and a year is written above each version. The plain backdrop has a studio feel, the light is soft, warm and cinematic, and the style is minimal, emotional photography. Both versions look recognizably like you, since the features come from your photos.

Which photos to upload

  • First, a current photo: face forward, good light, no filters.
  • Second, a childhood photo with a clearly visible face; a phone shot of an old print works too.
  • Enter the age you're turning and the year of the childhood photo — both appear in the image.

Where to use it

  • A then-and-now birthday post.
  • A gift for your mom or a card for loved ones.
